We are one of the few specialty clinics in the United States treating pilonidal disease

Evergreen Surgical Pilonidal Clinic

We are one of the few clinics in the country with a special interest in treating difficult pilonidal disease. We routinely take care of patients with pilonidal cysts, non-healing pilonidal wounds, and pilonidal abscesses with great success in the pediatric, teen, and adult age groups. Most surgical practices are not interested in these kind of problems, but we are different: we encourage patients with the most extensive recurrent disease and failed surgery to come see us!

Dr. Steven C. Immerman has been treating pilonidal disease using the Cleft-Lift procedure for approximately twenty-eight years. In 2017  he spoke about his success at the International Pilonidal Sinus Conference in Berlin to a group of pilonidal surgeons from around the globe, and again at the conference in 2019 in Vienna.

“I can’t tell you in words the difference that Dr Immerman has made in my son’s life. He is able to go back in 6 weeks to playing college football after being sidelined from other sports after a failed prior surgery for 6 months. My son was able to sit the next day after surgery, after not being able sit for 6 months. Took 1 dose of Ibuprofen and no narcotics at all. He was back to doing all normal activities after drain was removed 1 week after surgery. He was released to play college football after 6 weeks and hasn’t had any issues at all with the surgical scar at all.”
"It’s a “one and done” type of thing. I just wish we did it first and not last. My boy went through soooo much unnecessary pain. I felt an overwhelming gratefulness when we talked to Dr. Immerman. He knew exactly what he was looking at, unlike the previous surgeons we’ve had, and he knew exactly how to fix it."
16+ years with my pilonidal cyst, 3 surgeons, and close to 2 dozen surgeries done on the area. I was skeptical at first thinking there was no way it would ever get fixed. To my surprise Dr. Immerman fixed it. I never thought I would ever be able to say I’m free of this issue. And now I can!”
I went through multiple 6+ week recovery surgeries that failed. It was awful. I found doctor Immerman in Wisconsin and read how you’re essentially able to go back to normal routine the next day after his cleft lift and it felt too good to be true, but it isn’t. It’s been a year and there have been no problems."
